The trees are located on the second floor of The California, near the walkway to Main Street Station. Charities put the finishing touches on their contest entries at The Cal. More than two dozen charities are taking part in the contest in Nevada. Taking part in the contest at The Cal these nonprofits: Alzheimer’s Association of Southern Nevada, Lied Children’s Discovery Museum, First Friday Foundation, Las Vegas Hawaiian Civic Club and Safe Nest. The trees have been decorated by local charities as part of Boyd Gaming’s nationwide “Trees of Hope” contest.
